snow, snow, SNOW!!!

At 8:07 am Jack comes into our room and says, "Mommy?" "What Jack?" "It's snowing!!" He opened the curtains for us and we could barely see the grass. All day yesterday we had texts and calls from family in Houston, Tomball, & Daisetta letting us know they were getting snow. Our weatherman showed us a map of a winter weather advisory that made a circle all around Knoxville. We were pretty sure we wouldn't really get that much but we were still hopeful. After breakfast I asked Jack if he was ready to get bundled up and go play in the snow. "NO! It's too cold!" He was adamant that he was not going to go play in the snow because he would be too cold. I'm such a mean mom and I forced him to get bundled up and go play outside. Funny, he was the last one ready to come back in. He had such fun and for a snowy day, it wasn't too cold outside. Barbara & Mamaw were excited that they got to see snow. We're spending the day watching football, watching the snow and watching Barbara make gumbo. I can't think of a better day!

Our house this morning.

One little pink blossom left.

Checking out the snow.

A little excited about our tiny snowman.

Barbara & Mamaw in the snow!

He'll get you with a snowball!

We got an inch.

Snow golf.

And snow baseball.

He hit one!

He's loading up the trailer with snow.

It's so pretty on all the plants.

Finally, it's necessary to mow.
