Hooray for TVCC!!

My grandparents met at what was once Henderson County Junior College (HJCJ) but is now Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) and since they're celebrating 62 years of marriage this week, I think it's only appropriate to support this fine institution that brought them together. Don't you? Plus, it's another reason to post pictures of these cute kiddos! ;)

She is very glad they met!

I'm very glad, too! Without them, these kids wouldn't exist. How sad would that be?

I mean look how sweet.

And so cooperative.

And now they're over it.
Happy Anniversary (on the 6th) to my wonderful grandparents! I love you!

It's So Hot Outside!

It's been so hot outside lately that all we've done is stay IN! I decided it was time to play with the camera some and, of course, got some pretty cute pics!

In deep conversation.

She's getting so big and cuter by the minute!

She's smiling at Jack. She always smiles when she sees him.

Being goofy with Jack.

Jack said, "Mommy, I want you take my picture making this face." So I did.

Being goofy again.

Love this one!
Jack said, "Mommy, she's so wobbly."

Love this one, too!

Party Time!

We don't like for birthday's to end around here. We celebrate all week! We had a small party for Jack on his actual birthday after a yummy dinner at Pei Wei. He loves the honey chicken. I thought about letting him choose any restaurant he wanted to eat at but I knew the answer would be McDonald's. We didn't really want to eat there so I said, "Hey Jack, do you want to go eat honey chicken for your birthday?" He got really excited and said, "Yeah! I like honey chicken!" After dinner, we came home and let him open one present and had a few cupcakes. It's still really hard to believe he is 4 years old. It really seems like he should still be a baby. I'm sure I'll still be saying that in 5, 10 and 15 years, huh? Kelly & Abbott came over on Friday and we had a fun cookout birthday party on Saturday. The weather was perfect. We had been having temperatures in the high 90's but Saturday was in the 80's with a light breeze. The kids were actually cold playing in the little pool. It was a great weekend. Here are just a few (30 or so) pictures from our weekend.

Jack's "party" on his real birthday.

We told him to go into his room until we were ready. He was pretty excited when he saw he got a present and cupcakes.

I think he wished to stay 4 forever! :)

Kelly forgot swim diapers for Abbott so I thought a pull up might not be as bulky as a regular diaper. I was wrong. Good piece of info... a pull up will technically hold about 10 pound of liquid, though I don't recommend letting it get that full.

I think I've posted a few pictures of these 2 boys in the pool, but they're just so darn cute!

He's not really 4, right?

Warming up and reading with Aunt Kelly.

Aunt Kelly made Jack a Buzz Lightyear cake and he was fascinated watching her decorate it.

I think I'm going to have a Buzz Lightyear party for my next birthday!

I don't know how she did it. She just looked at a picture and viola! We have Buzz. You can hire her to do your next cake!

Our friends John, Amy & Bailey came to help Jack celebrate. Jack was glad to have someone who would swing high with him. Abbott gets on right now and swings a little and then says, "I'm all done." I don't think he quite likes this swing yet.

More swingin'.

Look at that loot!

He got a lot of Toy Story stuff. Here is the garbage truck from Toy Story 3.

I think Abbott's wondering where his presents are.

I think it's a success.

Bailey's balancing a bird on just a finger.

Blowing out his candle again.

Everyone' enjoying cake & ice cream.

Jacey's over the party.

Abbott really knows how to eat a cupcake.

Buzz Lightyear, to the rescue!

Dr. Bailey is giving Kelly a checkup.

What a good looking group of kiddos.

Jack preferred to wear nothing under his doctor suit. We call him the naked doctor.

Jacey's checking everything out from her bumbo chair.

Having a little snack on Sunday.

Her shirt says, "My aunt is my BFF." I think she's trying to suck up to her Aunt Kelly.

More swingin'.

Peanut butter face. Still pretty stinkin' cute!

Uh oh, I see trouble.

Popo's enjoying watching the kids play.
Look who's getting so big!
We don't have much going on for the next few weeks, so I don't know what I'll blog about. Jack starts back to school in about 4 weeks and he's taking a gymnastics class. That should keep us busy for a bit!
