Jack's Big Birthday Weekend Days 2 & 3

We woke up Saturday morning deciding that we would go to the park. However... Jack had gotten out most of his toys and they were all over the living room so I told him that before we could go, he needed to pick them up. This was not what he wanted to hear. When I finally said, "OK, this is the last time I'm going to tell you...", it really was the last time I told him. He played and played and played and didn't pick up a single toy so finally at 1:30 I said, "OK, it's nap time." "NOOOOOO! I want to go to the park!" I told him he hadn't picked up the toys and he could try again after nap time. If he took a good nap and then picked up his toys, we could go. He took a great nap and as soon as he woke up, he started picking up toys. We went to the park, dinner and then the mall for a bit. It was, overall, a good day. Sunday we got up and had Jack & Jacey's pictures made and then went out to Popo & Moma Jo's. We let Jack open his present from Grandma & Grandpa because we knew if we waited until his party, he wouldn't want to play with any other toys! He was so excited to open his drum set. Later that afternoon we met our friends at the movies to see Toy Story 3. I was so excited that this movie came out close to his birthday. We've had a great weekend, we're just relaxing a bit today and celebrating with just us tonight and then we're looking forward to his party on Saturday. Aunt Kelly is making a Toy Story themed cake and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Getting ready to go down the bumpy slide.

He's the cutest 4 year old I know!

Oh boy, drums!

He is so excited about them!

Patiently waiting for Popo & Daddy to put them together.

He's a natural rocker.

Using his Buzz Lightyear laser!

Date day at the movies.

He's saying, "We're going to see Toy Story 3!!!!" She's like, "yeah, ok."

We're all a little excited to see the movie!

Aren't they cute?

They barely weigh enough to hold the seat down!
