My grandparents met at what was once Henderson County Junior College (HJCJ) but is now Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) and since they're celebrating 62 years of marriage this week, I think it's only appropriate to support this fine institution that brought them together. Don't you? Plus, it's another reason to post pictures of these cute kiddos! ;)

Party Time!
We don't like for birthday's to end around here. We celebrate all week! We had a small party for Jack on his actual birthday after a yummy dinner at Pei Wei. He loves the honey chicken. I thought about letting him choose any restaurant he wanted to eat at but I knew the answer would be McDonald's. We didn't really want to eat there so I said, "Hey Jack, do you want to go eat honey chicken for your birthday?" He got really excited and said, "Yeah! I like honey chicken!" After dinner, we came home and let him open one present and had a few cupcakes. It's still really hard to believe he is 4 years old. It really seems like he should still be a baby. I'm sure I'll still be saying that in 5, 10 and 15 years, huh? Kelly & Abbott came over on Friday and we had a fun cookout birthday party on Saturday. The weather was perfect. We had been having temperatures in the high 90's but Saturday was in the 80's with a light breeze. The kids were actually cold playing in the little pool. It was a great weekend. Here are just a few (30 or so) pictures from our weekend.
Jack's "party" on his real birthday.
Jack's "party" on his real birthday.
We told him to go into his room until we were ready. He was pretty excited when he saw he got a present and cupcakes.
I think he wished to stay 4 forever! :)
Kelly forgot swim diapers for Abbott so I thought a pull up might not be as bulky as a regular diaper. I was wrong. Good piece of info... a pull up will technically hold about 10 pound of liquid, though I don't recommend letting it get that full.
I think I've posted a few pictures of these 2 boys in the pool, but they're just so darn cute!
He's not really 4, right?
Warming up and reading with Aunt Kelly.
Aunt Kelly made Jack a Buzz Lightyear cake and he was fascinated watching her decorate it.
I think I'm going to have a Buzz Lightyear party for my next birthday!
I don't know how she did it. She just looked at a picture and viola! We have Buzz. You can hire her to do your next cake!
Our friends John, Amy & Bailey came to help Jack celebrate. Jack was glad to have someone who would swing high with him. Abbott gets on right now and swings a little and then says, "I'm all done." I don't think he quite likes this swing yet.
Look at that loot!
He got a lot of Toy Story stuff. Here is the garbage truck from Toy Story 3.
I think Abbott's wondering where his presents are.
I think it's a success.
Bailey's balancing a bird on just a finger.
Blowing out his candle again.
Jacey's over the party.
Buzz Lightyear, to the rescue!
Dr. Bailey is giving Kelly a checkup.
What a good looking group of kiddos.
Jack preferred to wear nothing under his doctor suit. We call him the naked doctor.
