Palo Duro Canyon

We went to Palo Duro Canyon on Tuesday and even though Jack's been there before, he surely didn't remember it. He was a true boy and got down in the mud and had a good time. He didn't want to leave when it was time to go home. He's having a really good time with these boys!

Dayton let Jack borrow his canteen, which Jack thought was really a drum.

He's really excited about the thought of getting in the mud. He said (with enthusiasm), "Jack's hands muddy!!"

Palo Duro Canyon, isn't it pretty?

Jennifer's helping Jack form mud balls for him to throw in the water.

"Oh BOY!"

Dacie got dirty just like the boys!

Dixie doesn't feed her so she has to eat mud. Poor girl.

I think she may need a bath when we get home.

2 boys in the canyon. They were trying to hide from the mud fight.

Trying to splash mommy.

I think he may need a bath, too.

Eating mud, sitting in the dirty water, playing with a stick and dried tar. What's not girly about that???
Dayton and his cousin just soaking in the nice clean canyon water.

Jack & his mud ball. I really didn't get a good picture of just how dirty he was, but he had a great time so that's good.
After we got cleaned up, we went back and saw the play "TEXAS" It's a really great show and Jack enjoyed the singing & dancing. He did not enjoy the dialogue parts and we had to watch from outside the amphitheater on a tv because he was a little loud. Oh well, it was fun to go.
